The FOIA Files

The Sunshine in Government Initiative (SGI) has a new database of articles that are based on documents obtained through Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.

The database includes summary information and is not fulltext. It’s searchable by keyword, agency, date, congressional district and state. Results can be sorted by news agency, headline, city or date.

“The Sunshine in Government Initiative is a coalition of media groups committed to promoting policies that ensure the government is accessible, accountable and open.”
