Resources: Sex Offender Laws
Ken Strutin’s guide on LLRX.com, highlights key publications and resources, focuses on recent developments in the administration and implementation of federal laws. In addition, selected research on sex offenses, risk assessment, treatment and punishment are noted.

Human Rights Watch concluded in a recent report, No Easy Answers: Sex offender Laws in the United States, that is unclear whether sex offender laws “do more harm or good.”
“Protecting children requires a more thoughtful and comprehensive approach than politicians have been willing to support,” group director Jamie Fellner said in a statement.
